LIMITED WARRANTY -

Doorwin Windows, Inc. warrants that its aluminum frame windows and doors are free from workmanship and material defects for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase, provided the products are used under normal conditions and maintenance. Please note that if the shipment is delayed at the customer's request or due to force majeure, the warranty period will start from the date of shipment. This applies to all warranties mentioned hereafter

This warranty covers only defects in materials and manufacturing, as specified herein, and excludes damage caused by improper installation, normal weathering, accidents, fire, flooding, acts of God (e.g., lightning, tornadoes, hurricanes), vandalism, riots, civil disturbances, misuse, exposure to harmful chemicals or fumes, mildew, structural failures, building settlement, excessive localized heat, or any circumstances beyond the control of Doorwin Windows, Inc. Glass shattering, or damage to screens caused by high winds or wind-borne debris, is not covered by this warranty, provided the glass remains adhered to the interlayer. Similarly, damage caused by flying glass or debris, or when the wind conditions exceed established engineering parameters, is not considered a defect in materials or manufacturing. This warranty is transferable and supersedes all other express warranties. Doorwin Windows, Inc. shall not be liable for special, punitive, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the product, or for delays in the performance of this warranty due to force majeure. Any implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of the express warranty.

Other Warranty Considerations

Caulking used to seal window frames or trim against water or air penetration is not covered under this warranty and is considered the homeowner's responsibility.

The warranty is void if non-Doorwin products are used in a manner that causes defects in the Doorwin product.

This limited warranty provides specific legal rights. Additional rights may vary by state.

INSTALLATION NOTICE-

For optimal performance, we recommend using a Doorwin-certified installer. Before installation, confirm that the rough opening sizes are accurate. Typically, the rough opening (RO) should be 3/4" larger in width and height than the actual window or door sizes (from frame to frame), as per the submitted shop drawings.

Ensure the window or door frame is level, plumb, and square within the opening. A Laser Level or similar measuring device should be used for accuracy.

Installation methods:

■ For wood structures: Use integrated nailing flanges or metal clips around the frame.

■ For steel, ICF, or concrete walls without wood bucks: Use metal clips for installation.

■ For hinged doors and lift & slide doors: Use pre-drilled holes in the frame to screw into the wall.
